Erin Fitzgerald is the Vice President of Sustainability at Dairy Management Inc., (DMI). Erin joined Dairy Management Inc. in 2007 to assist the dairy industry in becoming more consumer-driven for long-term growth. She believes that sustainability can become a genuine differentiator for the U.S. dairy industry, strengthening its marketplace position while generating lasting economic, environmental, and social value. In her role, Erin works with dairy producers, processors, retailers, associations, universities, government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to drive change and innovation. She led the effort to establish industry-wide goals and build a long-term strategic plan for the initiative. Erin is a current Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow.

Tripp Borstel is a consultant at Blu Skye Sustainability Consulting and helps Fortune 500 companies develop sustainable strategies that drive innovation and create business value. For the past two years, Tripp has worked closely with the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy (which represents 80% of the U.S. Dairy industry) in developing an industry-wide strategy to reduce greenhouse gases by 20% by 2020 and foster innovations that generate value for the entire supply chain. Prior to joining Blu Skye, he worked as a project manager for BRIDGE Housing, California’s largest affordable housing developer, and as an analyst for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler. He also co-founded Emerging Green Builders, the young professionals chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
