The Nature of Business

About the Webinar

On this call, Mark discusses the 5-year, $10 million collaboration between The Dow Chemical Company and The Nature Conservancy that will apply scientific knowledge and experience to assign monetary value to the services that natural areas provide in areas where Dow works - such as a forest ensuring clean water for factories, or the role natural wetlands and reefs play in preventing damage from storms. The project is meant to help Dow and other companies recognize and incorporate the value of ecosystem service into global business goals, decisions and strategies.
