"Escape Velocity – From Start Up to Stay Up" - Scott joined Better World Books in 2011 from a career in the book industry with leadership and executive experience at W.H. Smith, Waterstone’s, and as Chairman of the Bookseller’s Association’s Academic, Professional, and Specialist Book Committee. After growing the UK side of the business with top-notch strategy and alliance building for over two years, Scott emigrated to the US to take on the role of Sr. VP of Global Sales and Business Development from the corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. As a book industry veteran, Scott brings a seasoned, global perspective to the business.

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership."
