Net Impact invites the graduating class of 2025 (undergraduate or graduate students) as well as Net Impact Alumni to join us for an inspiring virtual event to celebrate this year’s graduating class.

Join us on Tuesday, June 17 from 12-1:00 pm ET / 9-10:00 am PT to hear from responsible business champion, serial entrepreneur, and Yale Net Impact alum Seth Goldman about his journey from founding Honest Tea, PLNT Burger, and becoming the executive chairman of Beyond Meat, an industry leader in plant-based food companies. In addition, you’ll hear from Nuveen’s Director of ESG Stakeholder Relationships and Bard College Net Impact alum Lindsay Moreau on her career journey from raising capital as a fundraiser to allocating capital at an impact investment firm. Plus, you’ll have a chance to connect directly with other recent graduates and alumni who are pursuing or actively working in the impact space to share resources and build your Net Impact network! 

Graduating students will have the opportunity to be paired with an impact professional for a 30-minute informational interview. Students must attend the event to receive the informational interview.

Speakers

Seth Goldman SquareSeth Goldman is Co-Founder of JUST ICE TEA, a line of organic and Fair Trade bottled tea that’s Just Sweet Enough. Seth and his co-Founder, Celebrity Chef Spike Mendelsohn, are also co-founders of PLNT Burger, a plant-based quick-serve restaurant that offers delicious burgers, fries, and soft serve. Seth is also the Co-founder of Honest Tea and Chair of the board of Beyond Meat. In 2023, he took on a new role as Chair of the Mission Guardians for Tony’s Chocolonely, an international chocolate company committed to creating an exploitation-free supply chain. He has been widely recognized for his entrepreneurial success and impact, including the Washington, DC Business Hall of Fame, Partnership for Healthier America’s CEO of the Year, and EARTHDAY.ORG’s Climate Visionary of the Year. He is a graduate of Harvard College (1987) and the Yale School of Management (1995). Seth and his Honest Tea co-founder, Barry Nalebuff, are the authors of the New York Times bestselling comic book, Mission in a Bottle. The book tells the story of the creation of Honest Tea and its sale to The Coca-Cola Company. 

LM Headshot_sqLindsay Moreau is a Director of ESG Stakeholder Relationships at Nuveen, where she supports internal ESG strategy and leads external strategic partnerships and engagement for Nuveen’s Responsible Investing team. She started her career in nonprofit fundraising and social impact, raising millions of dollars for youth development, education, and cancer research organizations. She then joined JUST Capital, where she engaged with Russell 1000 companies on their environmental, social, and governance strategies before joining Nuveen in her current role.
